The Minute - Design 1

This is the initial concept for the character "The Minute" created by Dale Wilson and brought to life by me for the webcomic, "The Second". This character is a speedster, but I wanted to take him away from the traditional aerodynamic designs we find in most speedster characters and add some non traditional elements - like a cape, a helmet, and shoulder and chest pads. I figured if a guy was traveling at supersonic speeds, he might need a little protection. I also added some elements that represented a sense of time, like the clock hands and the "60" which represents sixty seconds.
